LINEN DISTRIBUTION ATTENDANT - EAMC LAUNDRY AND LINEN

Position Summary

The Linen Distribution Attendant at East Alabama Medical Center is responsible for distributing, transporting, and sorting linen for all applicable departments in the main hospital. This includes accurately building, sorting, and organizing exchange carts and delivering the linen carts to each unit daily.

Position Qualifications

• The ability to speak and understand English is necessary to follow instructions and respond to patient/staff requests.
• The ability to read and understand department names and locations is required.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
• Previous linen distribution experience, particularly in a healthcare setting, is preferred but not required.
