Linen Clerk, 5:30a-2p Monday-Friday, Weekend Rotation

Responsibilities

• Receive carts for clean linen
• Assemble linen exchange carts
• Perform linen deliveries
• Pick up soiled linen from proper storage areas and transport to the pick-up area
• Sort and properly store linen
• Perform tasks required to provide clean cubicle curtains, bedspreads, and other items
• Ensure proper use and care of equipment needed to perform the above tasks
• Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrate positive attitude, knowledge, skills, and behavior appropriate to the age of the patient population served (children from newborn to 17 years, adults, and/or elderly)

Qualifications

No experience required. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.

Desired

• One year as a linen clerk
• High School Diploma or GED
