Under close supervision of the Linen Services Group Leader/Supervisor, assembles, inspects, and counts linen. Comprehends and demonstrates the delivery process for small orders as it relates to the Towline Operations for the Supply Chain Shared Service Center. Shift: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Night Shift: 10:30 pm - 7:00 am. Weekend and holiday work is required Education Requires the ability to read at a minimum of an 8th-grade level and mathematical ability of at least a 6th-grade level Knowledge Requires the ability to read and understand English to follow instructions, job assignments, schedules, and work orders.Ability to utilize and understand universal safety precautions when delivering Skills Must be able to count and accurately complete inventory sheets.Highly effective interpersonal communication skills to interact with medical staff, patients, visitors, and other hospital employees. Work Experience None Working Conditions Work requires lifting of 50 lbs., standing and/or walking for 100% of time.Work is performed in a warehouse environment where there is exposure to dust and noise.Employees in this position will be required to adhere to work availability and departmental scheduling requirements.
