About the role
AzPS is seeking a Lineman Journeyman at our Douglas Service Center. The position is eligible for a $10,000 signing bonus.
Responsibilities
- Work on new construction projects and maintain existing underground and overhead facilities.
- Drive commercial vehicles as needed.
- Pass written and hands-on exams and demonstrate climbing skills.
- Travel to various locations as required.
- Handle reasonable and necessary overtime.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completed a Registered Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program or equivalent training.
- One year experience as a Journeyman Lineman.
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Valid Class A CDL license with no mechanical restrictions.
- Experience working on all types of distribution lines including 4kv to 21kv and related equipment.
- Lives within a reasonable distance of headquarters (one hour).
