Lineman C - A
Job Description
Assemble, install, maintain, remove and competently inspect underground facilities, conductors, fixtures, structures and other associated equipment on de-energized and grounded overhead and underground facilities under immediate or general supervision.
- Conduct proper tagging procedures while performing switching of energized circuits.
- Perform inspection and trouble-shooting of lines.
- Perform similar or less skilled work as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Lineman C: High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year distribution electrical power line work experience, or 1 year of related line experience.
- Lineman B: 2 years of work experience as Lineman C or the equivalent experience.
- Lineman A: Successful completion of apprentice lineman training, including B-200 certification written test with a score of 80% or higher and successful completion of hands-on comprehensive demonstrations.
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Class A CDL is required for all positions.
Physical Demands
The Physical Demand Level for this job is: H – Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
Compensation
- Lineman C: $34.69/hr
- Lineman B: $39.33/hr
- Lineman A: $56.36/hr
