About the Role

The Line Worker plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that production lines operate efficiently and safely to meet quality standards. This position involves performing repetitive tasks that contribute directly to the assembly, packaging, or inspection of products. The Line Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment while adhering to strict food safety and quality control protocols. Success in this role requires consistent attention to detail, physical stamina to handle lifting and standing for extended periods, and the ability to follow written instructions accurately. Ultimately, the Line Worker helps to deliver high-quality products to customers by supporting smooth and compliant manufacturing operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to lift and stand for extended periods, regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic understanding of food safety principles and personal hygiene standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and comprehending written instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Basic computer knowledge sufficient to enter data and communicate with team members.
  • Familiarity with quality control inspection techniques and shop mathematics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Certification in food safety or related quality assurance programs.
  • Experience using computerized production tracking or inventory systems.
  • Able to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production line equipment to ensure continuous workflow and product quality.
  • Perform quality control inspections to identify and address defects or inconsistencies in products.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and personal hygiene requirements to maintain a safe production environment.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly while standing for extended periods during shifts.
  • Read, understand, and follow written instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
  • Utilize basic computer skills to log production data and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to comply with safety and quality regulations.
