Line Technician

About the role

At United, you'll work on some of the best aircraft in the world, maintaining systems, powerplants, airframes, and components. This role requires a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance for aircraft systems, powerplants, airframes, and components
• Handle a wide variety of duties including inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement, and repair
• Work on larger, more sophisticated aircraft compared to smaller regional airlines
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless teamwork
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Roll up your sleeves for hands-on work

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• FAA A&P License
• Valid US Driver's License
• Computer literacy
• Pass a background check and drug screen upon contingent job offer
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to train
• The ability to access elevated aircraft areas and work in confined spaces
• Physical strength to lift 50 pounds

Qualifications

Pay

The starting rate for this role is $38.77.

Schedule

Union-based, with shifts designed to meet airport needs, including weekends and holidays. Mandatory overtime may be required.
