About the role

Reily Foods Company has a passion for flavor and has been providing iconic foods and beverages that create meals and memories for over 120 years. Our products include New England Coffee, French Market Coffee, Luzianne Iced Tea, Blue Plate Mayonnaise, Swans Down Cake Flour, Tiger Sauce, and Carroll Shelby Chili, available in foodservice and retail locations nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and food/employee safety requirements to meet daily labor and waste goals.
  • Utilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents, and communicate with support functions.
  • Complete changeovers for assigned equipment and/or production line.
  • Learn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality.
  • Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications.
  • Accurately complete all quality, traceability, and production paperwork.
  • Report any product deficiencies, food, or safety concerns to supervisor.
  • Perform minor equipment adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and assist others with product changeovers.
  • Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and initiatives.
  • Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person; report any injury, accident, or unsafe condition immediately.
  • Support and comply with GMP’s; understand and follow emergency action plan.
  • Support food safety, quality, and legality.
  • Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred.
  • Technical skills: ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment.
  • Interpersonal skills: good verbal and written communication, time management, and ability to follow rules and directions.
  • Leadership skills: positive attitude, team player, and self-leadership.
