About the Location
Our Lapel plant offers the charm of a small Midwestern town with the benefits of proximity to Indianapolis—less than an hour away—providing access to all the amenities of a major city.
Responsibilities
- Manage the total operation of the production line to maximize performance within safety, quality, and cost parameters.
- Serve as a customer liaison to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for increased productivity and quality.
- Drive key performance goals for production lines.
- Work with various departments on short-term and long-term projects.
- Coach, mentor, energize, and engage hourly and salary team members.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- 3-5 years of experience supervising people and processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in glass container manufacturing (highly preferred).
- Significant understanding of Flow Manufacturing concepts, Continuous Improvement, and Kaizen events.
- Availability to support 24/7 operations.
Skills
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and engage teams.
- Strong desire and drive to learn new systems and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office, including Excel for data analysis.
- Change management experience with a clear strategic vision.
Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000, with a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
