Line Cook (Wok)

About the Role

As a Wok Line Cook at Din Tai Fung, you bring the energy and technique of the wok to life in our kitchen. You’ll prepare wok dishes according to Din Tai Fung’s recipes, cook times, techniques, and plating standards, ensuring each dish delivers the flavor, quality, and consistency our guests expect. Located at 600 Pine Street, Seattle, WA 98101 (Pacific Place), this role offers a pay rate of $25.50/hour.

Responsibilities

• Check ingredient quality and ensure proper garnishes for each dish.
• Maintain a clean, organized wok station throughout service.
• Label products in compliance with health department regulations and company procedures.
• Participate in monthly staff and wok department meetings for continued development.
• Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized.
• Organize items within walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Lift/move boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds).
• Assist with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary information, including recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
