Duties And Responsibilities
- Sets up and stocks stations with all necessary ingredients and supplies
- Follows a written prep sheet to prepare all required items for service
- Follows all recipes and specifications
- Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment
- Ensures high food quality
- Fulfills all sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintains a positive and professional approach with team members and guests
- Safely and accurately handles equipment, small wares, supplies, and tools
- Ensures all systems are adhered to such as Line Checks and shelf lives
- Ensures that schedules are followed unless directed otherwise by management
- Supports all company decisions and directives
- Ensures that food is delivered in a timely manner
- Maintains an organized 'QB' area, kitchen, walk-ins, and storage
- Preps and cooks all appetizers, desserts, signature bowls, and allergy bowls
- Prepares and maintains all 'on-demand delivery' and 'online ordering' orders made by the guest through third-party partners
- Fulfills strict allergy and dietary restriction guidelines and cooking procedures
- Maintains and cleans equipment
- Fulfills all sanitation and safety policies
- Maintains valid state and local food handlers and alcohol certifications when applicable
- Advise Restaurant Manager/ General Manager/ Regional Director of any non-routine situations
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
- Keeps work areas and food storage areas clean and safe at all times
- Respectful of all guests, managers, team members, and vendors
- Valid state and local certifications
- Calm and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers and team members
- Detail-oriented
- Service-centric
- Able to multitask
- Able to run and maintain a deep fryer, flat top grill, and stove burners
- Able to work a variety of opens, swings, and closes including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 lb.
- Capable of constant walking, standing, and repeated stooping
- Manual dexterity and ability to reach hands and arms in all directions and perform twisting motions with wrists
Verbal And Reasoning Requirements
- Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to co-workers and managers
- Able to engage in a two-way conversation with the guest on the floor
- Able to read and/or follow verbal instructions and implement the same
- Able to apply common sense and understanding to carry out oral and/or written instructions
- Able to understand and adhere to service standards
