Line Cook - of all Levels

Responsibilities

• Provide enjoyable expertly cooked dining experiences conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
• Run the day to day operation of assigned station in the kitchen.
• Ensure all food items are prepared to exacting standards.
• Aid in creating and preparing menu items and specials.
• Check and complete mise en place and pars and set-up the station.
• Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
• Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
• Follow all guidelines for timely food service to guests.

Requirements

• Experience in kitchen/hotel operation or culinary school.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends and holidays.
• The ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lb.
• The ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Legal work authorization in the United States.
• A good level of food knowledge and experience.
