Line Cook (Noodle)

About the Role

Line Cooks (Noodle) are responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating all of the noodle line items.

Responsibilities

• Learns all Noodle recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
• Checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
• Cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes

• Plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
• Prepares and cuts garnishes for Noodle line items
• Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
• Attends monthly staff meetings and Noodle meetings

Supporting Functions

• Keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
• Organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
• Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
• Assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP’s”)

Pay

$24.50/hour. The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.
