About the role

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Answer, report, and follow instructions from the chef or sous chef.
  • Clean up station and manage leftover food.
  • Prepare a family meal once a week with team members.
  • Stock inventory appropriately and maintain records for own station.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Uphold a comprehensive approach to guest care, demonstrating a proactive attitude in ensuring guest satisfaction across all interactions.
  • Capable of handling fine dining shifts efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Experienced and diverse palate.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
  • Familiarity with industry’s best practices.
  • Certified in Food Safety.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
