About the role

Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare food for service, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Answer, report, and follow instructions from the chef or sous chef.
- Clean up station and manage leftover food.
- Prepare a family meal once a week with team members.
- Stock inventory appropriately and maintain records for own station.
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Uphold a comprehensive approach to guest care, demonstrating a proactive attitude in ensuring guest satisfaction across all interactions.
- Capable of handling fine dining shifts efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Experienced and diverse palate.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Familiarity with industry’s best practices.
- Certified in Food Safety.
- Strong multi-tasking ability.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
