About the role

A day in the life as a line cook involves preparing food items consistently while adhering to all recipe standards, maintaining a safe working environment through proper food handling and safety guidelines, and completing kitchen tasks such as line setup, food preparation, cleanup, and breakdown.

The hours and schedule for this position will vary by week depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines
• Complete kitchen tasks such as line setup, food preparation, cleanup, and breakdown

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
• Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Possession of a food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations
• 1+ year experience in food service/hospitality (preferred)

Pay

Pay range: $20.10 - $20.90 hourly. Pay offers are dependent on location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
