Position Summary
Prepares and cooks food items for restaurant and room service operations by following recipes and kitchen standards.
Responsibilities
- Food prep
- Cooking
- Portion control
- Cleaning workstations
- Maintaining sanitation
- Supporting daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- 1 year kitchen/prep experience or culinary school preferred
- Ability to grill, fry, sauté, chop, and prep food safely
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting/moving kitchen equipment as needed
- Able to work around heat, sharp tools, and kitchen machinery
