Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to established recipes, plate presentations, and specifications.
- Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant's standards.
- Complete all assigned prep work to prepare ingredients for efficient cooking during service.
- Set up workstation to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
- Practice sanitary and safe food handling, cleaning, and sanitizing the work area before, during, and after shifts.
- Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects to maintain the overall hygiene of the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Possess excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff.
- Move swiftly and efficiently throughout the shift, maintaining high energy levels and agility.
- Have physical strength to lift between 25 to 50 pounds and stamina to work on their feet for the duration of the shift.
- Be at least 18 years old.
