Responsibilities
- Consistently prepare menu items according to established recipes, plate presentations, and specifications.
- Ensure that every dish meets the restaurant's standards.
- Complete all assigned prep work to ensure ingredients are ready for efficient cooking during service.
- Set up workstation accordingly to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
- Practice sanitary and safe food handling, cleaning, and sanitizing the work area before, during, and after shifts.
- Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects to maintain the overall hygiene of the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Possess excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and ensure smooth operation.
- Able to move swiftly and efficiently throughout their entire shift, maintaining high energy levels and agility.
- Have physical strength to lift between 25 to 50 pounds and the stamina to work on their feet for the duration of the shift.
- Be at least 18 years old.
