Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with food inventory management through FIFO.
- Monitor food quality during cooking and presentation to ensure consistency.
Experience
- Previous experience as a line cook is required.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
- Strong skills in meal preparation and food presentation, with an emphasis on quality and taste.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new culinary skills is essential.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high volume line cooking.
