Line Cook

About the role

Due to our growing culinary needs, the Courtyard Restaurant at Willow Brook Village seeks a part-time, afternoon line cook for a newly created position focusing on cold side prep/production.

Responsibilities

• Closely assist the chef/production cooks in lunch and evening meal production, including setting up the line prior to meal service
• Prepare food according to recipes
• Focus on appealing plate presentation along with portion and diet instructions
• Properly store all items used on the line including breakdown, labeling, cleaning and maintaining kitchen sanitary conditions

Qualifications

• Two to three years' experience preferred
• High volume restaurant experience is a plus
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting is essential

Schedule

• Fixed, consistent hours
• No late evenings or nights
• Flexible hours, working 1 to 3 weekdays and every other weekend
• Shifts: 10:45 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Additional weekend premium of $3.00 per hour
