Line Cook

Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, is seeking a motivated Full-Time Line Cook to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests while growing their knowledge of golf club operations. As part of Troon, you’ll join a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain standards in food production and quality.
• Expedite orders in a timely manner.
• Practice excellent operational sanitation.
• Execute scheduled banquet functions.
• Maintain professional relationships with fellow associates.
• Help reduce loss/waste.
• Communicate equipment repair needs with the chef.
• Actively participate in training efforts.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Attend staff meetings.
• Check and date all deliveries received and report variances to the chef in charge.
• Verify that all coolers are at proper temperatures and cleaned daily.
• Process inventory requisitions and receive supplies as necessary for quality production.
• Prepare the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and plans.
• Prepare items in accordance with established recipes for consistent product quality.

Requirements

• Associate’s Culinary Degree and 2 years of culinary experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ServSafe Certified preferred.
