Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook breakfast items according to standardized recipes and established procedures.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all breakfast dishes.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
  • Cook with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely service.
  • Auxiliary in menu planning and recipe development for breakfast specials.
  • Monitor food inventory and notify the Head Chef of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role.
  • Knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and menu items.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
