Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to standardized recipes and established procedures.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all breakfast dishes.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Cook with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Auxiliary in menu planning and recipe development for breakfast specials.
- Monitor food inventory and notify the Head Chef of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role.
- Knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and menu items.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
