Line Cook

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation. This position floats between the brew pub and our food truck.

Responsibilities

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station while practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cook or in a food service role is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential
• Experience in menu planning or working within a dietary department is a plus
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and baking
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Pay

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour, paid weekly.
