Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
  • Ensure food is prepared quickly and efficiently during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work area.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Aid in food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to kitchen management.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Properly store food and label ingredients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
  • Basic understanding of food safety practices.
  • Physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting up to ~50 lbs).
