Line Cook

About the Role

Puttshack is seeking a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who are passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience. As a Line Cook, you'll play a crucial role in preparing, producing, plating, and garnishing all menu items, ensuring they meet the Executive Chef's high standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and plate menu items according to prescribed recipes and special requests
• Follow portioning controls and par levels
• Communicate food delays or issues to Culinary Leadership
li>Read thermometers and food tickets accurately and efficiently
• Account for all items coming out of your station
• Follow food allergy procedures and handle special orders/restrictions
• Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines, including MSDS
• Perform side-work, opening, and closing duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen
• Experience operating, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen tools and appliances
• Ability to obtain necessary licenses or certifications per state/local requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts, including navigating stairs and uneven surfaces
• Capacity to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
• Comfortable working in confined, crowded spaces with high noise levels and varying temperatures

Schedule

Our venues are open 7 days a week, typically from 11am-1am, with some variations. Schedules are variable, ranging from 15 to 30 hours per week, depending on business needs and individual availability. Flexibility is valued, but scheduling preferences may not always be guaranteed.
