Line Cook at Puckett's in Franklin

About the role

Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant in Franklin, TN is seeking line cooks with positive attitudes and a servant's heart to join our team. We are part of the A. Marshall Hospitality family, which includes multiple Puckett's locations, Scout's Pub, and Deacon's New South. We are a growing business looking for energetic and talented individuals to contribute to our success.

Responsibilities

• Cook meats, seafood, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products.
• Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking.
• Perform final plate preparation, including plating and garnishing cooked items.
• Prepare appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.

Requirements

• Must pass the federally mandated E-verify process.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• One year of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

Pay

$17 to $19 per hour.

Schedule

Varies; primarily Friday through Tuesday.
