Job Summary

Pine Trace Golf Club is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our exceptional team as a Line Cook. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and upholding our commitment to excellence. We are looking for full-time and part-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Consistent excellence in food preparation.
• Adhering to safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
• Complete daily tasks, such as setting up the line and preparing quality meals for guests, with effort and dedication.
• Aid the Chefs as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Friendly and Outgoing: Able to interact positively with guests and staff.
• Self-Motivated: Proactive in identifying and completing tasks without constant supervision.
• A Team Player: Willing to collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
• Detail-Oriented: Able to efficiently handle multiple support tasks in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

• Standing for extended periods of time
• Frequent lifting of 50 lbs and above
• Walking, bending, reaching, and lifting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior experience in restaurant service is preferred (1 year minimum)
• Basic knowledge of professional cooking and experience in knife handling (1 year minimum)

Often compared to the finest Northern Michigan courses, Pine Trace offers a natural setting that feels both secluded and timeless. Pine Trace is preparing for an exciting reopening in Spring 2026 following a major course renovation. As we complete improvements to our tees, greens, fairways, cart paths, irrigation, drainage, and practice facilities—along with the opening of our full-service restaurant—we are building a team that will help bring the Pine Trace experience to life.
