Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items consistently according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times
- Monitor food quality, accuracy, and presentation before dishes leave the kitchen
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment
- Assist with inventory monitoring, restocking, and proper product rotation as needed
- Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with team members to support timely, seamless service
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
- Graduate of a culinary institute, military culinary program, or formal on-the-job training preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required.
- Experience with high-volume or quantity food preparation preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate strong cooking skills and follow established menus and recipes accurately.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
