Line Cook
About the role
Lake Toxaway at our front door, the North Carolina mountains at our back door. And in between, a gathering place and restaurant for our guests. Do you love to cook and be a part of a team? As a Line Cook at the Greystone Inn, you will be creating fresh, seasonal cuisine for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Executive Chef, you will prepare ingredients according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
- Set up and break down stock within workstations
- Manage inventory and stock rotation
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen
Qualifications
- Good organization skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Able to stand throughout shift and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Able to navigate steps/stairs on a regular basis
