Role Summary

Cinemark Line Cooks prepare quality food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests receive fresh, tasty meals promptly. They play a crucial role in enhancing the movie-going experience by maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all required items according to approved recipes and portion controls
• Fulfills prep lists daily
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of food products
• Minimizes food waste and theft
• Collaborates with servers to ensure accurate food orders
• Cleans food preparation area and equipment after each use
• Ensures proper Cinemark culinary attire is worn
• Achieves standard operating procedures and maintains safety and sanitation
• Wipes down and sanitizes high-contact areas
• Utilizes Personal Protective Equipment appropriately
• Adapts to cleaning tasks as needed
• Monitors and reports safety and security issues
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain necessary certifications
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Communicate effectively with all ages and personalities
• Have an energetic and friendly attitude
• Be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Take and follow direction
• Respond with urgency

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
• Noise levels may be moderate to high
• Standing for extended periods
