Role Summary

Cinemark Line Cooks prepare quality food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring freshness and accuracy in serving movie-goers. They play a crucial role in enhancing the movie-going experience by maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all required items in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls
• Fulfills prep lists daily
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of all food products
• Collaborates with the server team to ensure food orders are accurate
• Cleans food preparation area and equipment after each use
• Opens or closes a workstation (depending on scheduled shift)
• Ensures a professional image through proper attire
• Consistently achieves standard operating procedures and maintains safety and sanitation
• Wipes down and sanitizes high-contact areas
• Utilizes Personal Protective Equipment appropriately
• Monitors and reports safety and security issues
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains necessary certifications
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Has an energetic and friendly attitude
• Communicates effectively with all ages and personalities
• Can work independently and in a team environment
• Capable of responding with urgency

Physical And Environmental Requirements

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
• Noise level may be moderate to high
• Standing for extended periods
