Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to standard recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including equipment and utensils
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Aid with inventory control and proper storage of ingredients
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and temperature
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
- Aid in receiving and storing deliveries as needed
- Report any equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Follow all health, safety, and fire regulations
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and food preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot environments
- Flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
