Line Cook

About the Role

Catch Hospitality Group is hiring for a new concept in the SoHo neighborhood. We are seeking individuals with a true passion for hospitality, an unrelenting drive to provide exceptional experiences, and a devotion to cultivating team culture through mentorship and development. This is an upscale/fine dining line cook position.

Responsibilities

• Cook menu items assigned to station
• Be mindful of special requests and dietary restrictions
• Ensure dishes meet quality standards and adhere to recipes
• Assist sous chefs and head chef in the kitchen
• Dispose of spoiled food and other waste material
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations
• Report any issues with kitchen equipment to management

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
• Ability to execute assigned tasks with precision and speed in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

Pay

USD $18.00 - USD $25.00 per hour (tipped position, though this role does not earn tips).
