About the role
Assist the chef with training a small group of individuals to become food service workers.
Cook all menu items as required while complying with Arc Broward policies on quality, quantity, sanitation, and portion control.
Maintain the kitchen and food storage areas in an efficient, clean, and organized manner.
In the chef’s absence, prepare meals while supervising trainees and other related responsibilities.

- Help maintain the kitchen and food storage areas in an efficient, clean, and organized manner.
- Assist in catering functions in preparation, setup, and delivery.
- In the chef’s absence, prepare meals while supervising trainees and other related responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or Equivalent (can be substituted for experience)
- Minimum of one to three years’ work experience in the food service industry
- Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to work in a team.
- Effective communication skills with verbal and written English fluency is required.
- Able to walk short distances.
