About the role

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is a family entertainment center focused on providing thrilling karting, VR simulators, arcade games, and event spaces. We strive to deliver an exceptional experience through spotlessly clean venues staffed with knowledgeable team members.

Responsibilities

• Work the cook line and prepare dishes to a high standard.
• Ensure food is prepared simultaneously, of high quality, and in a timely manner.
• Set up, stock, and organize the workstation throughout the shift.
• Practice proper storeroom and inventory control procedures.
• Follow heating and cooling standards and resolve food-related issues promptly.
• Maintain equipment in safe working condition and ensure utensils are clean.
• Label, date, and store prepped and cooked foods correctly.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with guest recovery and notify management for positive guest experiences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Perform opening, running, and closing department duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to be pleasant, upbeat, and sociable throughout the workday.
• Varying schedules including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
• Understanding and adherence to safety standards.

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
