Use check lists to ensure proper set-up and close down of each shift.
Company Specifications
Follow all company specifications and procedures to ensure perfect food.
Food Safety
Follow all food safety procedures and logs.
Food Rotation
Follow all food rotation and re-stocking procedures using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
- Experience with quantity food preparation preferred
- Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
Physical Demands
- Standing, bending, crawling, using hands to grasp, stoop, reach overhead, walk for 10-12 hours at a time
- Lift objects up to 50 lbs
