Line Cook

About the role

30hop Restaurant & Bar in Lee’s Summit, MO is looking for Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. Our Line Cooks are a key part of delivering a great experience for every Guest. You’ll work alongside the kitchen team to prepare ingredients, keep your station ready for service, and cook menu items throughout the shift. We’re looking for reliable team members who work well with others, stay organized during busy periods, and care about putting out consistent, quality food. 30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We serve great food and craft beer in a fun, welcoming environment. Our team members make that experience possible by working together and taking care of our Guests every day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, sauces, and recipes for daily service
• Set up and stock your station before and throughout your shift
• Cook menu items using grilling, frying, sautéing, broiling, and other cooking methods
• Follow recipes and established food preparation standards
• Monitor food quality and consistency during service
• Label, rotate, store, and handle food properly
• Maintain a clean and organized station and kitchen work area
• Replenish ingredients and supplies as needed throughout the shift
• Complete assigned cleaning, inventory, and food-storage documentation
• Communicate with kitchen leaders and teammates to keep service moving
• Assist with prep and line responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous line cook, prep cook, or other restaurant kitchen experience is preferred
• Comfortable working at a steady pace in a busy restaurant kitchen
• Reliable and able to contribute as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and help where needed
• Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds

Pay

Pay $15 - $22 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time opportunities available; evening shift availability needed; weekend availability needed.
