About the role
A Line Cook is responsible for ensuring proper service from the front line through quality control, training of line cooks, and maintaining proper sanitation levels. They also monitor the kitchen setup, equipment maintenance, and kitchen cleanliness policies.
Responsibilities
- Check all items against the recipe cards and verify use records.
- Monitor the line setup before meal functions to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Maintain equipment maintenance and kitchen cleanliness policies.
- Prepare food consistently according to recipe cards and production standards.
- Ensure proper temperature and rotation of perishables.
- Manage par checks, preparation, and inventory management.
- Assist in correcting food cost issues and managing waste.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- One to two years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of cooking and kitchen practices.
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs frequently.
- Ability to hear equipment timers and communicate effectively.
- Continuous standing and bending.
- Full range of mobility.

Pay
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour.
Schedule
Inside 95% of the time, 8 hours per day. Temperatures inside can range from 70°F to 100°F. Temperatures in the freezer can be as low as -10°F.
