Starting salary range of $21.91/hr – $23/hr, depending on experience, with opportunities for annual performance‑based increases.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, quantity, consistency, and timeliness of food preparation.
• Follow established procedures and recipes to maintain food presentation, portion control, garnish usage, and proper substitutions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and standards by memory.
• Adhere to proper food handling procedures for storage, rotation, spoilage prevention, sanitation, and cross‑contamination avoidance.
• Follow recipes, times, and temperatures to produce high‑quality, consistent products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• None required for basic education; High School Diploma/GED or recognized equivalent preferred.
• At least one (1) year of cooking experience or comparable cross‑over experience in the venue.
• Proven working knowledge of kitchen equipment (grills, roast‑and‑hold ovens, conventional and convection ovens, fryers, etc.).
• Proven working knowledge of East Asian cooking and cuisine.
• Effective communication skills.
• Completion of Snoqualmie Casino Career Development Track Series.
• Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO).
• Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission.
• Pre‑employment drug testing required for all positions.
• Marijuana use does not disqualify applicants for departments other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I).
• DOT panel testing required for Driver positions.
