About the role
As a Line Clearance Analyst, you will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of AES's transmission and distribution system by providing administrative, financial, and operational support to the Vegetation Management team. You will ensure work is properly coordinated, documented, and completed efficiently while collaborating with internal teams, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage invoice processing, billing support, and related documentation while assisting with budget tracking, cost reporting, and financial coordination for the Vegetation Management department.
- Prepare, submit, and track required permits and supporting documentation to help ensure Vegetation Management work proceeds efficiently and without unnecessary delays.
- Receive, document, and route customer inquiries to the appropriate AES personnel or contractor contacts, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication with customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly with internal teams, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with business systems, spreadsheets, email, and document management tools; SAP experience is preferred.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize assignments, follow through on tasks, and work effectively with limited direct supervision.
- Bookkeeping, budgeting, or financial tracking experience, with the ability to support invoice review, cost tracking, and routine budget-related administrative tasks preferred.
