About the Role
The Line Cleaner is responsible for handling all scheduled maintenance, quality control, and cleanliness of all draft accounts serving Atlanta Beverage Company draft products in accordance with Company standards.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean draft beer lines, faucets, and all related equipment for pouring draught product.
- Follow a schedule of service calls on all assigned accounts, visiting and servicing each assigned account at least every 14 calendar days.
- Organize and maintain an inventory control system of all equipment.
- Sort and pick up all empties/breakage in accordance with Company policy.
- Accurately and legibly perform line cleaner administrative procedures.
- Update and maintain entries in the Draft Line Application, including line cleaning logs, invoices, and billings.
- Assist the Draft Department in booking, setting up, and executing special events.
- Obtain customer signatures on all invoices and transactions conducted.
- Collect all payments and returned checks from assigned accounts in accordance with Company policies.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly prepared for daily delivery, including inspection, documentation of deficiencies, and reporting required maintenance.
- Operate all Company vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic regulations and Company safety policies.
- Demonstrate effective customer service skills, interacting with customers in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships.
- Understand and comply with all Atlanta Beverage Company policies and procedures, including the Anheuser-Busch Code Book and Company Rotation policy.
- Accurately perform any other assigned duties to ensure an efficient workflow.
- Adhere to the established dress code and grooming standards.
- Actively support the Company’s mission and vision philosophy, attending all required meetings.
- Maintain security and confidentiality of all Company information.
- Work with all co-workers to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma required.
- One year of experience in the beer industry preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clear motor vehicle record for the past three years.
Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
- Complete understanding of all Company policies and procedures.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
- Ability to deal with problems involving multiple solutions in standardized situations.
- Ability to perform arithmetical calculations to balance cash/checks, read and figure code dates, and count product.
