About the role
The Line Chef will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of food items in the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of food items in the kitchen.
- Ensure all food items are prepared according to quality standards.
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Assist in training new staff members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and following recipes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid food handler’s permit.
