Lincoln, NE (48th & Hwy 2) – Garden Center Sales Associate

About the role

The ideal candidate will have high energy and a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, be a self-starter, have a strong work ethic, strong decision-making and leadership skills, be sales-driven, have previous experience working in a retail or service environment, be able to lift 50 pounds, be able to work variable hours/shifts, and have a valid driver's license. Horticulture knowledge or landscape experience is a plus, but training will be provided to the right person. Previous management, sales, and landscape design experience are a definite plus for full-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Participate in store events and promotions
• Help maintain store appearance and cleanliness
• Support team members as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
