Job Summary

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or nursing leadership, in accordance with New York State regulations.

Perform resident assessments and report changes in condition promptly.

Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as permitted by facility policy.

Accurately document resident care in the electronic medical record.

Assist with admissions, discharges, and interdisciplinary care planning.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families.

Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
• Current New York State Limited Permit to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN examination.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required.
