Lighting Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Lighting Warehouse Associate position at Got Light is part of a Special Event Design & Production Company that produces hundreds of events annually, including notable openings and social galas. Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, pull technical equipment for special events
• Participate in equipment testing, quality control, and product cleanliness
• Safely load and unload trucks
• Inventory management and transportation to and from venues or vendors
• Assist in maintaining the integrity of the company brand, cleanliness, and presentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• At least 1-2 years of experience in live event lighting production, entertainment technology, warehouse operations, or a similar field
• Experience with lighting fixture programming and knowledge of lighting network fundamentals
• Experience with equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs
• Experience with soldering, cable termination, and basic electronics maintenance
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands

• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching
• Pushing/pulling/lifting up to 70 pounds
• Standing and/or walking for up to 10 hours daily
• Working in noisy, unheated, and non-air-conditioned environments
• Full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists

Schedule

This is a Full-time non-exempt position with a Regular Schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Schedule flexibility is required approximately once a month for an early start time of 5:30 AM or earlier.

Pre-Employment Requirement

A motor vehicle record (MVR) check is required for this position. Following a conditional offer of employment, Got Light conducts a routine background check in compliance with the California Fair Chance Act.
