About the role

Hutchinson Resonetics is looking for an Operator I to join their team on 1st shift for the summer. This is a temporary role focused on the advanced operation of a chemical machining work center. The individual will process components with minimal instructions, provide leadership to junior employees, and participate in a team environment.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 11:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform medium to high complexity tasks related to customer-specific process requirements.
• Comprehend and follow documentation requirements.
• Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation.
• Adjust system settings within established guidelines as required.
• Inspect components to ensure specifications have been met.
• Enter data and report issues as required.
• Take responsibility for all required process documentation as directed.
• Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow instructions from the Supervisor and/or Production Manager, adhering to Resonetics policy and safe labor practices.
• Operate laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources safely, considering wavelengths for personal protection policies.
• Maintain professional conduct and high standards of job performance.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older.
• Good dexterity for handling small components.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated or manual inspection equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems, particularly in medical device manufacturing.
• Use of optical inspection equipment (e.g., magnifier, microscope, or measuring equipment).

Pay

Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications, with an anticipated range of $20–$24 per hour.
