Harrington’s Bar & Grill in San Francisco’s Financial District blends rich Irish pub history with flexible contemporary design. Located at 245 Front Street near the Embarcadero, Ferry Building, and Coit Tower, the venue offers three distinct event spaces: “The Dark Side,” “The Light Side,” and a charming outdoor patio. Full-venue buyouts accommodate up to 200 guests. Indoor spaces feature wood-paneled interiors, authentic Irish memorabilia, and soft lighting for an inviting, communal atmosphere dating back to 1935. The patio provides an al fresco option for milder weather.
Cuisine includes Irish comfort-food favorites like shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, hearty pub salads, and a strong selection of pints (including perfectly poured Guinness) and Irish whiskeys available in tasting flights. The venue is known for its relaxed yet lively vibe, hosting live music, trivia, sports broadcasts, and mixers in the bright, comfortable “Light Side” area.
