What You’ll Do
- Maintain flow of paper in a safe and efficient manner while operating box trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks
- Maintain a neat and organized work environment
- Perform checks on machine and truck and complete basic maintenance
- Regularly check paper for product quality
- Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
What We Offer
- Responsible for driving a 10ft box truck to and from converting building
- Maintain inventory for the cutting department
- Absorb and assist cutters as needed
- Ensure material is delivered to the pressroom in a timely manner
- Follow all safety and quality control procedures
What It Takes
- Ability to lift up to 30-50lbs, stand for 12 hours, and push/pull up to 1100lbs with use of manual pallet jack
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- May be exposed to controlled, non-toxic, chemical vapors or mists
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience operating stand up forklifts and electric pallet jacks required
- 1+ years’ experience driving a manually shifted 10ft box truck preferred
Pay and Benefits
Pay Grade: $19.15 - $25.00 Based on experience.
Potential performance based pay increases at 3 months, 6 months, and during merit review.
