Light Equipment Operator

Job Title

The Town of Wayland seeks qualified candidates for a Light Equipment Operator position with the Department of Public Works.

Responsibilities

• mowing, tree/shrub planting, removal and maintenance
• maintenance/repair of recreation fields, structures and facilities
• grounds keeping work
• plows/shovel snow in roads, sidewalks and parking lot

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 2 years of applicable experience in light equipment operation, labor, and maintenance
• Licenses/Certificates: Must have and maintain a valid 2A/1C/4G hydraulics endorsement

About the Role
