Light Duty Technician - Phoenix, AZ

About the role

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Light Duty Technician to bolster our team. This position requires the level of knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair commercial vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and perform all vehicle and equipment repair phases, including brakes, suspensions, engines, drivetrains, transmissions, and other repairs.
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
• Aid with road calls and emergency services as necessary.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.
• At least 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Mechanic’s toolset.
• Must be willing to participate in the company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!).
• Subject to DOT drug testing.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.

Pay

Competitive compensation package of minimum $35.00 – Maximum $42.00/ hour.

Schedule
